Lorado

Meet Lorado! He's a charming 3-year-old, 44-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of sunshine and a wagging tail ready to greet you. Lorado is a true social butterfly who adores meeting new people. He's a young, energetic pup who thrives on adventure – think long walks, spirited games of fetch, and then cozying up on the couch for some quality snuggle time. Like many cattle dogs, Lorado enjoys a good herd and can sometimes get a bit mouthy when excited, so he'd do best with a person experienced in positive reinforcement training and familiar with the breed. He's a curious explorer who loves to discover the world, but once playtime is over, he transforms into a big snuggle bug! Lorado can be a bit unsure of new dogs, so he'll need slow, careful introductions to ensure a harmonious match in his new home.

Ideal Home

Lorado would do best in a home without cats. Due to his tendency to get mouthy when he's excited, a home with children ages 13 and older would be ideal. He needs an owner with experience in positive reinforcement training and who understands the cattle dog breed.

Lorado is a healthy young pup.

Training & Support

Lorado was reportedly potty trained in his foster home, but he will need time and patience to adjust to a new routine. His mouthiness when excited will require ongoing positive reinforcement training.
