Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was found as a stray in November 2025 and is estimated to be around three years old. She’s currently being cared for in a loving foster home in Addison, Texas. Lainey has truly bloomed and transformed into a couch potato, enjoying her days snuggled with her favorite stuffed animals, with occasional bursts of energy for zoomies and playtime with a chew bone. She’s a shadow to her foster family, often following the two-year-old around the house. Lainey is a big fan of children, especially little ones, and has shown herself to be friendly with both dogs and cats! She enjoys long walks and walks beautifully on a leash, staying right by your side. She’s a quiet girl who rarely barks. Potty training is going very well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time!
Ideal Home
Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets, as she can get nervous around loud or energetic dogs and tends to hide. However, loud noises from people and toddler tantrums don’t faze her!
Ongoing Health
Lainey is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by the rescue.
Training & Support
Lainey is doing wonderfully with potty training and walks well on a leash. She is a quiet companion who seems to be a very adaptable and loving addition to any home.
