Sweet Boone is a 2-year-old, neutered Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who weighs approximately 18 pounds. He has the kindest face and the softest, most soulful eyes. Boone came to us after being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he had very little human interaction. Despite everything he's been through, Boone has remained incredibly gentle, sweet, and eager to experience the love he has always deserved. Like many dogs from neglect situations, Boone is still learning that the world can be a safe place, and he's making steady progress every day. He's a quiet, thoughtful little guy who would much rather observe before jumping into something new, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines through. Boone doesn't need an exciting lifestyle to be happy; he simply wants a family that will celebrate his small victories, appreciate his gentle nature, and give him the time he needs to blossom.
