BENNITO

Bennito is a dog with a huge personality and an even bigger enthusiasm for life. He arrived underweight and clearly very hungry, but despite that, he greeted people with friendliness and excitement right from the start. He absolutely loves treats, seeks out affection, and has shown himself to be a playful, energetic guy who wants to interact with the people around him. In quieter spaces away from the kennel chaos, his fun side really shines through. He enjoys chasing toys, leaning into affection, and throwing his whole goofy self into playtime with the people he trusts.

Shelter life has been very overstimulating for Bennito, especially around other dogs in the kennel areas where all the barking and activity can send his energy levels through the roof. Once outside of those high-stress spaces, though, he becomes much easier to engage with and redirect. Bennito seems like the kind of dog who will thrive with structure, outlets for his energy, and adopters who appreciate an active, affectionate dog with a big zest for life. Underneath all that excitement is a dog who is eager for connection, attention, and finally having a place where he can settle in and just be somebody’s beloved companion.

All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
