Sabine is a sweet, snuggly female Chiweenie, weighing around 9 pounds and estimated to be 5-7 years old. She boasts a gorgeous chestnut red coat, with even her tiny eyelashes being red! Sabine was rescued from a dog-hoarding situation. She does very well with other dogs and cats but can be timid toward humans and new spaces, and is very wary of men. She bonds quickly with her female foster human(s) and is a loyal lap dog. Sabine enjoys toys and can happily entertain herself or play fetch with you. Her playful antics are sure to bring laughter! She would prefer a fenced yard for her sniffing and sunning enjoyment, and is good on walks with no leash aggression toward other dogs. At home, she loves attention and spending time with her people. Sabine is a fantastic cuddler and will gladly join you for lap snuggles and snoozes, but also knows when to give space, happily resting in a dog bed nearby when you are busy. She shows no separation anxiety and is fine left alone at home. Sabine is also well-house-trained.
Ideal Home
Sabine would be the perfect fit for a calm home with a single woman or female-only household, especially if you work remotely or are retired. She would also prefer a fenced yard.
