Coffee

Coffee is a loving, intelligent, obedient, and playful 1-year-old male Lab mix, weighing around 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024, found as a newborn with his siblings. Coffee is sociable with people of all ages and other dogs and cats, enjoying playtime, walks, runs, and lots of affection. He can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but quickly warms up and melts into your arms. He is described as affectionate, docile, loyal, joyful, and funny. Coffee is crate and leash trained.

Ideal Home

We are looking for homeowners with a fenced backyard. Active families who enjoy outdoor activities are ideal. A family with an open conscience about the needs of rescued street animals and their behaviors, requiring protection and education, is essential. Experience in dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies, is also preferred. Please note: Coffee is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has received a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, 4DX test and certificate, negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection (fleas, ticks, and heartworm). He also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Coffee is crate and leash trained, but he is not house-trained. We acknowledge that rescue dogs may not be potty trained due to the demands of rehabilitation. Consistent positive reinforcement and patience will be key to his success.

• A virtual meet-and-greet will be arranged.
• A trial adoption period will be initiated with an adoption contract.

Transporation

Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
