Hi! My name is Ares, and I'm a super sweet large breed dog with lots of love to give. I have a sleek brown coat with white markings and a face that's hard to resist. I'm a total love bug who greets everyone I meet with enthusiastic tail wags. Don't be surprised if I put my big paws on your lap and give you a big sloppy kiss when we meet – I'm a very affectionate guy! I came to the shelter as a local stray and am so ready to find a home of my very own. Because I'm a little bit older, I'm a pretty good mix of chill and active. I love to run and play, but I also enjoy quality cuddle time with my person. I'm going to make a great walking buddy, whether it's a stroll around the neighborhood or a hike in the woods. As long as I'm with my person, I'm a happy pup! I'm a very gentle dog who does a really nice sit for my treats and takes them gently from your hand.
