Sadie

Sadie is a sweet, 15-week-old Labernese mix (with perhaps a hint of beagle!) who absolutely adores attention. If you're looking for a furry shadow who will be your best friend and soak up all the pets, Sadie is your girl! She’s eager to please and loves to play, especially fetch, though she tires out fairly quickly. Sadie is also a treat-motivated learner, which will be a big help as she continues to grow.

Ideal Home

Sadie would likely thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where she can run and explore to her heart's content. However, she's also adapting well to a smaller yard and enjoys her daily walks. She’s a social butterfly and is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes. Sadie is good with older children but, due to her current learning phase with not jumping, she might be a bit much for very young children under 5.

Sadie is a young, healthy puppy.

Training & Support

Sadie is still learning some leash manners and is working on not pulling while walking. Potty training is going well, but she does need frequent trips outside and may have accidents if left indoors for too long. She is crate trained for short periods, though she sometimes needs a gentle encouragement to get in. She can cry for a few minutes when crated but settles down quickly. Sadie is also a vocal pup, especially when other dogs bark, but positive reinforcement when she stops barking is helping to curb this.
