Meet Canary, a young, large male mixed breed with a big personality! Canary came to us as a stray and has been showing us just how much spirit can fit into one dog. He finds shelter life a bit overwhelming and can be quite vocal in his kennel, eager to get out and explore. He'd much rather be out adventuring than behind kennel doors!

Canary can get a little carried away, especially when there's a lot going on. He has shown behaviors like leash biting and getting overly excited near other dogs. He benefits from structured handling and clear direction to help him make good choices. In playgroups, he shows a playful side and enjoys interacting with other dogs that match his play style. With guidance, he can be redirected and continue to engage appropriately.
