Sonny

Hi there! I'm Sonny, a playful pup with a personality as bright as my name! I'm about 1- to 2- years old and land somewhere in the medium to large size range. I'm currently a resident of Milford Animal Control in MA, and while I appreciate having a roof over my head, I'm really hoping to find my forever home. I was a bit of an orphan and have spent time in a crate and experienced neglect, which meant I was pretty thin. But thanks to the wonderful care here, I'm gaining weight and building muscle! I don't know my exact age, but I'm ready to celebrate every birthday with a cake in my new home!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a patient family and a person who can join me in professional dog school with a kind trainer. I'd love to learn all the things a great dog should know! Because I'm a little energetic right now, I should not live with young children, and no cats, please!

Ongoing Health

I'm happy to report that I'm gaining weight and growing muscles! I'm also ready to learn how to manage my enthusiasm for food with a slow feeder bowl and other fun food games.

Training & Support

I'm very treat-motivated and starting weekly classes to learn all the good-dog manners! I'm eager to learn and want to be the best dog I can be. I love interacting with people and am a team player when given clear guidance. I'm also ready for plenty of adventures and exercise!
