Lucy Lou is a delightful 5-month-old approximately 25 lb bundle of joy, who we believe might be an American Bully mix, though with rescue, breed and age are always a bit of a mystery! She's a small dog with big personality, and while she has some growing to do, we don't expect her to get much larger. Lucy Lou is a gentle and affectionate soul, often described as having an "old soul." She enjoys napping in cozy spots but is also happy to entertain herself with toys. Her easygoing nature means she fits seamlessly into daily life without demanding constant attention. She's a dream to have around and is a perfect companion for those who work from home.
Ideal Home
Lucy Lou is quite flexible and would thrive in various living situations, whether you have a backyard or a cozy apartment. Her main needs are people to love, a few toys, a comfy place to nap, and plenty of cuddles. While we haven't seen her with children yet, her gentle and affectionate nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog. We are happy to arrange a meet and greet if you have children.
Ongoing Health
Lucy Lou is a healthy puppy. All necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and spay/neuter, is included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Lucy Lou is doing wonderfully with potty training, with her sweet spot for needing to go out being every three hours. She sleeps through the night without any fuss or destruction. She has proven to be dog and cat friendly, even showing a sweet curiosity towards cats.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
