She takes meeting new dogs on leash slow and steady but softens quickly into a playful, light-hearted girl who loves a good round of chase. She is thoughtful at first, but once she feels comfortable, she knows how to have fun. What we really love is how beautifully she can shift her playstyle according to the dog. From itty-bitty dogs who were nervous, to larger than her dogs pushing her to play, she adjusts accordingly. We have seen she does not overcorrect or overmanage other dogs in large playgroups and that is such a nice quality. Pippa Love is not the kind of dog who barges into the room and demands the spotlight. She is the kind who quietly becomes your whole world. The kind you look over at one day and realize you cannot imagine the house without her in it. The kind whose soft eyes and gentle heart sneak up on you in the very best way. She would do well in a home with a medium-energy dog who enjoys a little running and play, especially one who can help show her the ropes without overwhelming her. Pippa is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs.
