Pio - The Old Soul Pup

Pio is a 56-month-old, 35-lb sweetheart with the soul of an old friend. Pio was found abandoned along a busy highway in Puerto Rico, a terrifying experience that tragically claimed the lives of some of his siblings. Miraculously, this gentle boy survived. Despite the fear and loss he endured, Pio's kind heart remained intact. For a puppy, he's remarkably calm, possessing an old soul that finds contentment in simply being by your side, enjoying affection and observing the world around him. He's gentle, loving, and has the sweetest way of leaning into you for pets, as if seeking the love he missed. Even after all he's been through, Pio chooses to trust. He greets people with a soft, hopeful heart, longing for a safe place to call home. Pio has overcome the most difficult chapter of his life and is now ready for the easy part—a family to cherish him, a cozy bed to call his own, and the assurance that he'll never be alone again. In return, he'll offer a lifetime of quiet loyalty and unconditional love.
