If you are looking for an affectionate dog, look no further! Al is an absolute love bug who is incredibly affectionate with everyone. Seriously, all people—including kids—are his best friends! He's neutered, fully current on all his medical needs (vaccines, heartworm, and flea prevention), and microchipped for life. He's also a smart cookie: he is crate trained, house broken and knows some basic commands already!

Ideal Home

This handsome hunk is a firecracker! Al has high energy, so forget lazy afternoons—he MUST have vigorous daily exercise to burn off steam and be his happiest, most balanced self. He’s looking for an active family ready for adventures. Because of his need to run and play safely, a securely fenced yard is required. While he adores children, his enthusiasm and size can sometimes be "too much" for the smallest kids; he could accidentally knock a tiny human over during playtime. A home with older, sturdy children would be the best fit! He's been good with cats, but watch out—he's a bit of a goofball and tends to "harass" them (in a playful way, of course!). Tolerant felines are a must, or maybe just a cat-free zone.
