Victoria is a approximately 5-year-old, 48 lb. female Husky mix with a heart full of love to give! She was rescued from the streets of Saltillo, Mexico, after being found hungry and thirsty. Despite a rough start, Victoria has blossomed into a confident, noble, and incredibly affectionate dog. She absolutely adores being petted, loves to cuddle, and has a beautiful, beaming smile that will melt your heart. She's loyal, playful, and eager to please, making her a truly special companion.
Ideal Home
Victoria would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, owned by active families who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and long walks. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, along with a high level of patience and understanding for rescued animals. She does need to eat in her crate to prevent food-guarding issues. Victoria is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Victoria has some dental challenges due to past malnutrition, missing most of her teeth. Only a few molars remain. She has been spayed/neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She is dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and receives monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are provided.
Training & Support
Victoria is crate and leash trained. She needs ongoing guidance with her eating habits to prevent food-guarding. Her new family should be prepared to continue her education with patience and positive reinforcement, understanding the unique needs of a rescued animal.
