Meet our husky girl, Lucy Van Pelt!

Lucy is a 4-year-old, 45 lb husky with piercing blue eyes, a heart of gold, and a personality as big as her husky spirit. She's incredibly smart, treat-motivated, and a quick learner, showing remarkable progress in obedience training. Lucy is devoted to her pack and has even shown great promise with her foster sibling. She is house-trained, microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Lucy's previous family surrendered her due to a skin condition, but thanks to dedicated foster care and a healthy diet, she's healing perfectly and thriving! She enjoys fresh snacks like apples, cucumbers, and broccoli stems. Lucy can be vocal, especially when she thinks dinner is delayed, but she's a polite hostess who doesn't bark at visitors.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives on a structured routine with plenty of exercise, including two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute play session daily. She'd be happiest in a home where someone works from home or with other dogs to keep her company. She's great with dogs and likely good with cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is healing well from a past skin condition and is now in great health.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and eager to please. She enjoys chew toys and frozen treats.
