Tom Jones the Squishy Faced Snuggle King

Tom is about 5 years old and is the ultimate couch companion! He's a handsome, snuggly fellow with soft fur and a charming salt-and-pepper face. Tom loves to lean into his people, carry his favorite toys, and ensure no couch is ever lonely. He was recently assessed by our Director of Behavior and charmed everyone he met, including children of various ages and the vet staff. He rode well in the car and greeted everyone with affection. Tom enjoyed a day at doggy daycare, where he was described as a loving and happy boy. He prefers calm to medium-energy canine companions and can also be happy as the sole dog in a household. However, cats are a definite no-go for Tom. He is potty-trained and has good manners, but would benefit from continued leash-walking practice. Tom previously lived with an elderly couple and would be a great candidate for apartment living with continued leash training. He is ready for a new beginning and is the whole package: loving, handsome, and loyal.
