Paco is a charming French Bulldog, approximately 22 pounds, with a relaxed and endearing personality. He's a master of naps and enjoys a low-stress lifestyle, preferring soft couches and quiet companionship. Paco settled into foster care quickly and is now looking for his forever home. He's more of a couch potato than a whirlwind of energy, content to snooze when left alone and enjoy his people's company without constant demands. His "retired uncle with a recliner" era is in full swing, and he's ready to be your bestie, especially if snacks and Hulu are involved!
Ideal Home
Paco would thrive in a home that understands he's a lower-key companion. A family that appreciates a chill vibe, doesn't expect perfection immediately, and is willing to provide routine, patience, and confidence-building will be ideal. He needs a safe place to land, preferably with a couch, a soft blanket, and someone to love him just the way he is.
Ongoing Health
Paco has glaucoma in one eye, which has resulted in limited vision. While not currently medically affecting him or causing pain, there's a possibility his other eye may eventually need removal. He is still adjusting to his vision changes and needs time to transition and feel safe. He does not like dogs getting directly in his face, but he's not a fighter; he will stand up for himself if he feels uncomfortable or cornered. Paco is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Paco is somewhat house-trained and making progress daily, though he has had some accidents. Routine helps him a lot. He is not fully crate-trained yet and will voice his displeasure when first placed in the crate, but he usually settles down. He enjoys his Frenchie chatter! At night, he prefers sleeping on the living room couch. A slow transition into a new home is crucial for his success, requiring patience, structure, and time to settle in and feel safe.
