If you like your arm candy to be extra hunky, then you'll want to meet Chico! Chico, in addition to being handsome as heck, strikes a fun balance between smart and goofy. He has been affectionately described as a sweet and silly oaf and would love to be someone's beefy bro. Chico is a total goober who loves to play and entertain himself. He is constantly cracking us up with how he tosses toys around for himself. Chico is also a big ham for affection once he has a chance to burn some energy and settle down. He likes to flop over or lean against you and bliss out with some head scratches. He loves attention and just does not always know his own size when seeking it out. Chico is a bright boy who already knows how to sit and lay down, plus he has been working on stay and rollover, and he seems to enjoy working on learning new things together. He also seems like he could be housebroken. Being cooped up at the kennel can be tough for a dog that is smart, curious and fun-loving - he would love to find a home where he can keep his mind and body active. He would do best with someone who doesn't mind a strong but attentive companion. With other dogs in play group, Chico was playful and social. Ongoing Health
All dogs receive their DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines, though you may be required to get follow up boosters. All dogs come microchipped and with a Cuyahoga County license. Dogs adopted directly from the kennel need to go to your personal vet within two weeks of leaving the kennel.
Training & Support
Chico already knows how to sit and lay down, plus he has been working on stay and rollover, and he seems to enjoy working on learning new things together. He also seems like he could be housebroken.

- You must schedule a meet with a dog in advance - we are not currently accepting walk-ins.
- Please look online first to see if there are any dogs you think would be a good fit for your home before scheduling a meet.
- If you have kids in the home or another dog, we do require that they be present for a meet and greet with the dog you are considering for adoption.
- If the dog you adopt is already fixed, he or she may leave with you that day - otherwise, the dog can go home after receiving the spay or neuter surgery.
