Peeta

Peeta is a gorgeous girl who was found abandoned in the woods and had to be coaxed out over two and a half weeks. Despite her difficult start, she's a total sweetheart who has shown no aggression, even when scared. She's already shown she can walk nicely on a leash and gets along well with other dogs. We'll be doing more testing with cats soon.

Ideal Home

Peeta needs a home with a fenced-in yard, as she's shown an ability to climb a four-foot fence. She should also not be left outside unattended.

Ongoing Health

Peeta is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Peeta is overcoming some anxiety but is learning to trust people. Her previous experience with leash walking suggests she was once a beloved pet. Patience and gentle reassurance will be key to her continued adjustment.
