Meet Duke — Your New Best Friend ?
Duke is an 18-month-old Lab mix whose journey didn’t start out easy. He was surrendered several months ago as part of a cruelty investigation, but despite his difficult start, his gentle and resilient nature quickly became evident. Everyone who met him was struck by his sweet and gentle spirit. Thanks to a dedicated team of rescuers, trainers, and supporters, Duke has had the chance to heal, grow, and reclaim the happy, playful puppyhood he missed out on. Over the past several months, Duke has been thriving at a top-notch board and train program, where he’s been learning and blossoming every single day. He’s incredibly smart, loves practicing his commands, and enjoys his structured routine. His progress has been remarkable — and now he’s ready to bring all that he’s learned into a loving home! He’s very eager to please and is in search of a human(s) that will continue to work with him every day with his training. Duke absolutely adores his human companions, he gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and even does well with cats!
