About Honeycrisp HTX

Honeycrisp’s story begins with heartbreak, but it quickly turns into one of resilience, devotion, and quiet strength. Found abandoned on the side of the road with her seven tiny puppies, just three weeks old, this incredible mama had clearly been doing everything she could to keep her babies safe despite impossible circumstances. All eight were covered in fleas and in need of care, but thanks to a timely rescue and veterinary treatment, they’re now on the road to a much brighter future. In honor of where they were found, the litter was lovingly named the “Apple” crew—and their devoted mom became Honeycrisp. The name couldn’t be more fitting. Honeycrisp is the very definition of a gentle giant. She has a calm, easygoing presence that immediately puts everyone around her at ease. Sweet as her name suggests, she adores affection and will gently lean in for pets, happily soaking up any love you’re willing to give. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains incredibly trusting and people-oriented, often seeking out human companionship and even asking for help caring for her puppies. She’s wonderful with other dogs, does well with cats, and is gentle and patient with children. Honeycrisp simply loves being around people—whether it’s lounging nearby, following you from room to room, or quietly watching over her little ones. After proving herself to be such a dedicated and loving mom, Honeycrisp is more than ready for a forever home where she can finally be cared for the way she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and calm companion, Honeycrisp is ready to fill your home—and your heart—with love.
