CHEETO

Cheeto is an adorable, scruffy puppy with a big heart! Born around August 1st, 2025, he currently weighs about 30 lbs and is expected to reach around 35 lbs or more when fully grown. He's a very sweet boy who gets along wonderfully with other rescue dogs. Cheeto can be a little shy at first and would benefit from an adopter with patience to help him gain confidence and come out of his shell. He absolutely loves to run and play with his canine friends in the yard and has a soft spot for squeaky toys! He's doing well with house-training and is mostly going potty outside during the day, though he might need some initial crating at night. Cheeto is currently enrolled in a two-week board and train program at Dog Gone Smart in Norwalk to boost his confidence. He looks like a charming Border Terrier mix.

Ideal Home

A fully fenced and secure yard is a must for Cheeto to safely enjoy his playtime.

Ongoing Health

Cheeto is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including Dhpp, Bordetella, Rabies, and Canine Influenza. He is also on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. He is spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Cheeto is a bit shy and will need an adopter who can provide patience and positive reinforcement as he continues to build his confidence. He is undergoing a board and train program to further support his development.
