Dayna

Dayna is a gorgeous 2-year-old foxhound who weighs about 40 pounds. She has beautiful eyes and a sweet, playful, and sometimes silly personality. Dayna is also quite independent and loves exploring the great outdoors. She's great with cats and dogs and enjoys car rides.

Ideal Home

Dayna would thrive in a home that provides plenty of exercise, especially outdoors. She loves walks where she can meet new people and dogs, splash in streams, and explore. While a fenced yard would be a plus, her true passion is nature and adventure with her humans. She enjoys being petted on her head and chin and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an energetic walking buddy.

Training & Support

Dayna is very food-driven, making her eager to please when treats are involved. She walks fairly well on a leash but will pull if she spots a deer or fox, which is typical for her breed.

Dayna is coming from North Carolina and will be arriving on August 1. She will be fostered in a loving home in Maryland.
