Meet Coors, a brilliant, loving, and eager-to-please Staffy who’s looking for the perfect home to call his own. This handsome boy is the best of both worlds—he’s excited to learn new tricks and show off his smarts, but he’s also totally down to be lazy and soak up the sun like the king he is. One of his favorite pastimes? Sunbathing! Whether it’s a warm patch of grass or a cozy spot by the window, Coors loves to stretch out and relax in the golden rays. But don’t let his chill side fool you—this pup has a voice! He loves to “speak” for treats and will happily charm you with his enthusiasm. Coors is picky and cautious when it comes to choosing his playmates, so he prefers to take things slow and decide who’s worthy of his zoomies. Once he finds a good friend, though, he’s happy to let loose and enjoy some fun. This sweet, intelligent boy is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his goofy personality, big heart, and sun-soaking skills—as well as his selective but loyal friendships.

Training & Support

Coors loves to "speak" for treats and will happily charm you with his enthusiasm. He is eager to learn new tricks and show off his smarts. We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We have a team of dedicated animal care professionals that work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Transportation

Available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our dogs are brought to you in transport buses, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
