Meet Zuko! He's a delightful, approximately one-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mix who is as loving as he is playful. Zuko approaches life with boundless enthusiasm, eager to make friends with everyone he meets, especially if they have a dog! He's a confident and affectionate companion who is happiest when surrounded by people and furry friends. He even has a special talent for "squeaky-celebrations" after a good game of fetch! Zuko has proven to be a well-trained and adaptable young dog, thriving in his foster home where he has developed excellent manners and is both house and crate trained.
Ideal Home
Zuko would thrive in an active home that enjoys including their dog in daily adventures. While he's proven to be an excellent apartment dweller, he requires sufficient exercise, enrichment, and social interaction. He would do best in a home without cats, but can coexist respectfully with rabbits.
Ongoing Health
Zuko is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also tested negative for heartworm and received treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Zuko has a strong foundation in training and knows multiple commands. He enjoys learning and is eager to please. He can occasionally be a bit pushy during play and may need gentle reminders about respecting other dogs' boundaries. A confident adult dog in the home could be a great mentor for him.
