Meet Peter, our smooth-talking "Charming Scientist" who is ready to steal your heart! Cool, calm, and collected, just like the iconic Peter Venkman, this pup has an effortlessly relaxed vibe. He is a very calm boy who does not let the world ruffle his fur. While other puppies are frantically chasing ghosts, Peter prefers to sit back, relax, and look handsome. Peter has a heart of gold and is incredibly loving. He focuses all of his attention on his favorite humans, showering them with gentle tail wags and adoring glances. He does not need a proton pack to make an impact—his affection is his ultimate superpower. A professional lap warmer, this sweet boy is a world-class snuggly companion who just wants to be held like a baby. If you pick him up, he will instantly melt into your chest and sigh with pure contentment. He treats your arms like his personal safety zone and would gladly stay cradled there all day. Peter was born in May 2026. His mom was found as a stray ready to give birth and is around 25 lbs. Dad is unknown, but we estimate he will be a medium-sized dog.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Our adoption fee is $350 plus transport, which includes all vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter (for pets 6 months & older), and a heartworm test (if over 6 months old). All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
- Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
Transporation
Peter is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas, but is available for transport to an agreed-upon location.
