Arcadia

Arcadia is a handsome gentleman born in November 2021. He's a survivor of parvo and has blossomed into a true snuggler, lover, and loyal companion. He's also a fantastic lap dog and is completely house-trained, so you can trust him to be alone for extended periods. In his foster home, he's the calm presence, happy to coexist with other friendly dogs and even understands the feline residents, knowing which ones want to play and which prefer their space. Arcadia has a playful spirit and loves a good game of chase, though he's happy to retrieve balls and then encourage you to chase him! He enjoys walks and is a great leash walker after the initial excitement wears off, and he also loves car rides. Arcadia bonds deeply with his people and can be protective. He is kennel-trained and enjoys his crate, but since he's so trustworthy in the house, it's mainly used for short breaks.

Ideal Home

We're looking for a patient adopter who can look past Arcadia's sometimes "scary bark" and give him the time to come out of his shell. He needs a home with at least a 6-foot fence, as he has been known to jump lower fences.

Ongoing Health

Arcadia is a parvo survivor.

Training & Support

He is house-trained and kennel-trained. He is great on a leash after the initial excitement of a walk.
