Ellery is a handsome oversized puppy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! He's an affectionate, playful guy who at his core, is a sensitive soul who thrives on kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement.

Ellery will do best with gentle guidance that helps build his confidence. While he may be a little cautious around new people or unfamiliar situations at first, a little time and understanding go a long way in helping him feel safe and comfortable.

Training & Support

Like many young dogs, he's still learning the ropes. He can get a little jumpy and mouthy when he's excited, and is looking for a someone committed to continuing his training using positive, reward-based methods. On walks, he has nice leash manners and enjoys meeting other dogs—sometimes so much that he'll pull over to say hello! He's also still adjusting to some of the sights and sounds of the world, including things like scooters, skateboards, and bicycles, and would benefit from continued confidence-building experiences. At home, this curious pup likes to stay busy to help him stay out of trouble. He'll thrive with plenty of enrichment, exercise, training, and activities that keep both his mind and body engaged.
