Riley is a handsome boy with a heart full of love, waiting for his person! He's a bit of a gentle soul who thrives with someone who has a calm and steady presence. Riley enjoys his walks, melts for hugs, and absolutely loves being brushed. His happiest moments are spent simply hanging out with his human. He's also great off-leash and forms deep, trusting bonds with those he cares about. Riley has overcome a difficult past, having been left tied outside, neglected, and underweight as a puppy. To add to his unique needs, he is deaf and sight-impaired, which can sometimes make him fearful. He needs an experienced and patient adopter who understands that healing takes time and that he needs to feel safe at his own pace.

Ideal Home

Riley needs a calm, adult-only home. He would do best as the only pet, meaning no other dogs, cats, or children. He needs a steady person who respects his space, earns his trust, and allows him to feel safe and secure.
