Ember is a mature and affectionate girl who is looking for a peaceful and stable home where she can truly relax and be her wonderful self. While she's happy to be your shadow and enjoy couch cuddles, she also loves her long walks and outdoor adventures. Ember thrives on close companionship and is incredibly people-oriented in calm environments. The hustle and bustle of the shelter has been tough on her, leading to some stress behaviors like barking, jumping, and leash grabbing. She's eager to decompress in a structured and quiet setting. Recent feedback from her foster home highlights that Ember becomes more relaxed and affectionate when she's close to her people and on a consistent routine.

Ember would do best as the only pet in a strictly cat-free home due to a very strong prey drive towards felines. She is also selective with dogs.
