Phil

Phil is a happy and friendly young dog with boundless joy to share, looking for a stable, committed home to enjoy an active life with him. He loves to play with toys, people, and other dogs, and did well with many dogs in his previous home. Phil mostly avoids cats after a past encounter and has shown a prey drive toward other small animals. He would be fine with children, but they should be sturdy and likely older, as he is still learning to keep all four feet on the floor and can be unaware of his body, sometimes bumping into people. This active boy is crate trained and uses his crate as a safe space when left alone, and also for naps throughout the day.

Ideal Home

Phil would thrive in an active home with sturdy, older children. He would do best in a home without cats or other small animals due to his prey drive.

Phil is neutered.

Training & Support

Phil is crate trained. He is still learning to be aware of his body and to keep four feet on the floor. A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in his adoption fee to help him continue to learn.
