Hot Potato is pure puppy energy in motion! At five months old, he's bold, goofy, and endlessly entertained by absolutely everything. Toys, people, shadows, leaves – everything is exciting to him, and he meets it all with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. He's the puppy who keeps things lively, turning ordinary moments into something funny just by being himself.
He loves people deeply, greeting the world like it's his long-lost best friend. He's wiggly, expressive, and full of joy, with no concept of personal space in the most endearing puppy way. After bursts of play, he's just as quick to flop over for belly rubs, settling into complete happiness in your arms or at your feet. There's a big heart behind all that energy; Hot Potato isn't just chaotic for the sake of it, he's social, affectionate, and eager to connect. He wants to be involved, included, and part of the action. With consistency and structure, he will grow into a fun, loyal, and incredibly engaging companion who keeps life active and full of laughter.

Ongoing Health
All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test and treatment if needed are included.
Training & Support
Our trainers assess every animal with trainers on staff, modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation
Hot Potato is located in Houston, Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
