About Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy who was surrendered to the shelter due to his owner's health. It's clear he was so loved! Bear is about 4.5 years old and over 100 pounds. He knows commands like sit, come, and heel, and "stay" when he feels like being a good listener. He is good on the leash, loves playing ball, and is a friendly, great family dog. Bear does best with female dogs and is also fine being the only dog in a home.

Ideal Home

Bear would thrive in a home where he can continue to be a beloved family member. He gets along well with female dogs or can be the sole canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear knows several commands and walks well on a leash. His favorite activity is playing ball!
