Mutt Damon (In Foster)

Meet Mutt Damon! He's an approximately 10-year-old, neutered male, Australian Cattle Dog mix who is currently in a foster home. This handsome gentleman was found roaming Harmony and brought to an emergency vet, where we stepped in to provide the medical care he needed. He was quite scared and confused when he first arrived, but with the help of his foster, he's blossomed! Mutt Damon loves bum scratches, belly rubs, and exploring his surroundings. He's also been enjoying playtime and discovering his inner puppy – proving that you can indeed teach an old dog new tricks! His foster reports that he has been reliably house-trained with no accidents.

Ideal Home

Mutt Damon would do best in a home with older children (12+) or adults only, as he startles easily. If there are other dogs in the home, a dog introduction will be required.

Ongoing Health

Mutt Damon's vision is fading, which contributes to him startling easily. He also exhibits food guarding behaviors when other animals are present during mealtimes. He has begun showing signs of separation anxiety.
