Shaggy *FTA*

Shaggy is a charming adult male dog, a mix of Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher, who came to us with several other small dogs that had been living outside. He's currently participating in our Prison Training Program, where he's making great strides! His handler reports that Shaggy loves all people and has never met a stranger. He gets along wonderfully with female dogs but can be a little selective with male dogs. He's already crate trained, potty trained in his current setting, and walks nicely on a leash. Shaggy is a very social boy who also enjoys a good snuggle session. He is a bit of a picky eater and prefers his dry kibble softened with a little water.

Ideal Home

Shaggy would be a fantastic companion for a senior looking for a moderately active dog. He's also a great choice for a family who would like a young dog that has already moved past the puppy phase and is ready to be a wonderful addition for years to come.

Shaggy is neutered.

Training & Support

Shaggy is crate trained, potty trained in his current environment, and walks well on a leash. He is a little bit of a picky eater and likes to have his dry kibble softened with a bit of water before he'll eat it.
