About Daisy

Daisy is everyone's friend!

Daisy is about 2.5 years old, and she is a social and affectionate girl who can't wait to be your new best friend. She is a fun pup who loves her daily walks around the neighborhood and making friends with everyone she meets along the way. She is eager to be everyone's BFF and isn't shy about planting some kisses on your face. Daisy currently weighs about 24lbs.

Daisy came to us from a local shelter after she was surrendered by her previous owner. From what we were told, her previous owner was elderly and disabled and was no longer able to physically take care of Daisy and her brother. Her brother was rescued by another rescue. Daisy has been thriving in foster care and is oh-so ready to find her fur-ever home!

Daisy is a curious and bubbly girl who enjoys cuddles, exploring the neighborhood, and playing with her toys. She has all the wonderful traits that people love about Boston terriers - goofy, fun, and lovable. Her favorite place is with her people, and she would love a family where someone works from home or can bring her to work with them (even better, is retired). She is a moderate-energy pup who is always happy to join you on the couch for some relaxation or lounging in the cool morning/evening weather outside.

Ideal Home

Daisy would do best in a home where someone works from home or can bring her to work with them, or with a retired individual. She could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. We recommend a very slow introduction to any cats in the home, as Boston terriers can have high prey drives. Someone with experience with the Boston terrier breed, or other brachycephalic breeds, is preferred due to potential medical concerns.

Ongoing Health

Boston terriers are prone to major medical issues such as eye ulcers, knee problems, and heart stroke.

Training & Support

Daisy is still learning all of her basic manners and will need a family committed to continuing her training. Daisy is still working on her housetraining and is making great progress. She didn't get proper training in her previous home, so she will need a family who can be patient and consistent with her training to help her succeed. Daisy has been doing well sleeping in her crate overnight and is content to hang out in there for short periods during the day.
