Sunrise is a 2-year-old male Border Terrier mix who is a steady and grounded companion. He recently returned to our care in early January after a previous adoption didn't work out, but he has navigated this transition with quiet resilience. Sunrise is a "shadow dog" who prefers to be in the same room as his people, often leaning in for pets or finding a spot close by to settle down. He isn't a demanding dog; rather, he offers a calm, soothing presence and is particularly fond of physical touch, happily spending his evenings curled up next to you on the sofa. On walks and in daily interactions, his gentle temperament shines through. He isn't one for high-intensity chaos; instead, he appreciates a predictable routine and the security of knowing where his people are. He focuses well on his handlers and is eager to please those who show him kindness.
