Meet Memphis, a resilient and loving adult male mixed breed dog. Memphis was found in rural Georgia in a dire state, severely emaciated and refusing to eat. He was rushed to a veterinary hospital where emergency surgery revealed a life-threatening obstruction caused by a lodged corn cob in his intestines. Thankfully, he received help just in time and is now on the road to recovery, healing and gaining strength. Despite his past suffering, Memphis has a remarkably sweet and gentle heart, greeting everyone with trust and deep affection. He's learning what it feels like to have a full belly, a soft bed, and caring people. Memphis is looking for a family to remind him that his hardest days are behind him and to provide him with a home where he'll never have to worry about food or feeling alone again.
