Dottie Sue is a 2-year-old, 33lb pittie mix who is a personal ray of sunshine! She wakes up every day ready to squeeze every last drop out of life and is impossible not to smile around. Dottie Sue is all wiggles, kisses, confidence, and excitement, filling any room with her personality and enthusiasm. Between her goofy antics, endless love for her people, and her unique talent of throwing a ball for herself, she's one of the most entertaining characters you'll meet. She approaches new people, places, and adventures with joyful confidence, making her an easy companion for any ride. Dottie absolutely loves people and greets guests with enthusiasm, showering them with kisses and assuming personal space is optional. Her favorite hobby is balls – not fetch, but playing with balls themselves! She has a way of entertaining herself by tossing a rubber ball into the air and chasing it, a truly hilarious sight. Dottie also enjoys tug toys, durable chew toys, and has a knack for destroying stuffed animals. If you're looking for an interactive dog who loves to play, Dottie will be a perfect fit!

Ideal Home

Dottie Sue's ideal home includes a securely fenced yard, an active family, and plenty of opportunities for adventure. She would do best with older children, as her enthusiastic nature might accidentally knock over tiny humans. Due to her curiosity and tendency to chase when excited, a kitty-free home would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Dottie Sue is believed to be approximately 2 years old and weighs 33 lbs. She is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has tested negative for heartworm. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Dottie Sue is crate trained, potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car, settling nicely in her crate at night. She loads into and unloads from the car like a pro and walks well on leash. She isn't bothered by traffic noise and handles new situations with confidence. Dottie is a rescue and her breed and exact age are a mystery, as is typical with rescues. She is provided with extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on staff to ensure a good fit.
