BOLT

Meet Bolt! This handsome gentleman is a former stray who unfortunately experienced some tough times on the streets, including an injury from a gunshot. Thankfully, he's now safe and sound and ready to find his forever family. Bolt is a smart and clean boy who is house-trained and never has accidents in his kennel or home. He's also not a destructive chewer and is a quiet observer, rarely barking. Bolt loves his toys and enjoys lounging in a sunny spot in a privacy-fenced yard. He knows basic obedience and willingly settles into his kennel, making him a low-maintenance companion. Bolt is incredibly grateful for any chance at a loving home.

Ideal Home

Bolt would do best in a home with a woman, or a single woman, as he is still a bit distrustful of men due to his past experiences. He has gotten along well with other dogs but did have one incident with an intact male. Bolt is not a good fit for homes with children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Bolt is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which we are covering the full expense of. He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, and is up-to-date on his preventatives.

Training & Support

Bolt is already well-versed in basic obedience and settles easily into his kennel. He may need a couple of introductions to feel comfortable with new people.

Bolt is located in Tulsa, OK, but is available for adoption anywhere in the United States. Transport can be arranged.
