Moyo. Please read in full first

Moyo means heart in Swahili, and this sweet girl sports a heart-shaped marking over her eye, just like her name! Moyo is a wonderful companion who is super sweet with her people. She was abandoned in Homestead, FL, in November 2020, left outside in the cold rain with the trash when her family was evicted. She was terrified when the landlord found her, and after no other rescues stepped up, we brought her to West Palm Beach to begin her journey to a forever home. She has received the nutrition she needed, socialization, and training, and is now ready to find her perfect match.

Ideal Home

Moyo would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, and she is not suited for apartment living. She is selective with other dogs and would do best as the only dog or with a canine friend close to her size and age (she currently lives with four female dogs she's known since she was young). She is not recommended for homes with small children and absolutely no small dogs.

Moyo is a healthy girl ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Moyo is crate trained and is believed to be house-broken. She is smart, highly trainable, and loves to play games like tug-of-war, "catch me if you can," and fetch.
