Moon Hunter is a sweet and gentle 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 16 pounds, with a heart as soft as her soulful eyes. She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving and loyal personality truly shines through. She forms strong bonds with her people and will happily stay close, soaking up affection and giving it right back. This lovely girl gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a fantastic addition to just about any home. She has a calm, easygoing nature but still enjoys her walks and exploring the world by your side. Moon Hunter already has great manners, she knows how to use a doggy door and does very well on a leash, making daily routines a breeze. With a little patience at the start, you'll quickly discover what a special companion she is. Ongoing Health
All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention.
Training & Support
Moon Hunter is already house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and walks well on a leash.

Transporation
Moon is currently out of town but will be transported to you when adopted. Transport fees are included in the adoption fee. Our dogs are rescued from shelters in Oklahoma and are placed in foster homes in the NJ/NY area. Once an animal has an application or an adopter is interested, transport arrangements are made. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, you will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER your application is being processed.
