Madeline (Maddie)

Madeline, estimated to be about 9 months old and weighing 40 lbs, is a gorgeous little gal with the softest fur. She was rescued from a euthanasia list at a local shelter after only two days because she was too scared to walk on a leash. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped in and saved her life! Maddie is now thriving in a home environment and loving every minute of it. She is doing great with potty and kennel training and loves attention. She walks well on leash and rides nicely in the car, ready for your next adventure. Maddie likes all dogs and cats she has met with proper introductions and would love a friendly fur sibling in her forever home. She has so much love to give and we can't wait to find her the forever home she deserves. Madeline’s future is bright!

Ideal Home

Maddie would love a home with a friendly canine or feline sibling. She becomes very frightened around small children and will retreat to a corner shaking, so a home with adults and older children would be best.

Training & Support

Maddie is still building confidence due to her past experiences. She will need a family committed to helping her work through her fears with patience, kindness, and positive experiences. Continued socialization, training, and exercise will help her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be.

Transporation

Maddie is being fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption in many places around the country. Her adoption fee includes the cost of transport.
