Mr. Darcy is a wonderful pup who, after a year in the shelter, found a magical connection with a 9-year-old child. This encounter revealed his true colors as a loyal and loving companion, proving that sometimes all it takes is the right meeting to change a life! He's incredibly smart and already knows commands like sit, paw, down, place, and touch, and he's so quick to learn, he's likely mastered even more! Mr. Darcy has a playful spirit and loves to engage with toys, promising to bring endless joy to your home. He's also working on overcoming past fears and anxieties, and it's truly heartwarming to see him gain confidence every day. As a member of our "Rescue Me" program, Mr. Darcy has received extra training to help him transition successfully into his forever home.

Mr. Darcy would thrive in an adult-only home. He is not good with cats or small dogs.
