Dexter is a tenderhearted 2-year-old, weighing in at 18 lbs. Don't let his white muzzle fool you; he's a young, sweet boy. He can be a little shy at first, but once he knows you're kind, his heart opens wide. Coming from a background where he likely wasn't cared for, Dexter just needs time and love to learn that he is finally home. He craves gentle affection and will blossom in a patient, calm home where he feels safe. Dexter gets along well with other dogs at the rescue and loves people. Once he trusts you, he is the sweetest little companion you could ask for.
