Chance

Meet Chance, a sweet and soulful 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix who was rescued from an overcrowded Houston shelter after being abandoned. He has an "old soul" with a gentle and loving spirit, always sporting what looks like a big smile and ready to brighten your day.

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a loving home with a relaxed, predictable routine. He would do best with older kids who can enjoy his energy without getting knocked over, and ideally with another dog his size, or as the beloved only dog. Due to his strong prey drive, cats will not be a good fit for Chance. He is not a fan of having a crate door closed, but is happy napping in open crates or any comfy spot.

Ongoing Health

Chance is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Chance is fully house-trained and sleeps through the night. He can stay home alone without trouble. He enjoys walks but is also happy to lounge. He has a playful, slightly mischievous streak and learns routines quickly. While he can be a little stubborn when something interesting catches his attention, he is highly motivated by treats and the word "cookie," making him a great candidate for continued training.
