About Chip

Chip is a sweet, playful, and curious 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix weighing about 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and be the shadow of his people. While initially cautious with new people, he quickly becomes a loyal best friend once he trusts you. Chip is crate-trained, potty-trained, enjoys outdoor time, and is a champion of costumes! He's done well with his calm foster dog siblings and enjoys engaging in play. He asks that he not live with any cats.

Ideal Home

Chip would thrive with an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. He would do best with calm/submissive doggy siblings for play or as an only dog if he can go on outings. Chip's ideal humans will enjoy his companionship, understand his separation anxiety when left alone (though he is working on it and can be crated), and are willing to continue his training. He has also done well around older children.

Ongoing Health

Chip is a healthy boy, and no specific health conditions are noted in his description.

Training & Support

Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left alone. He would love to continue working with his adopter on his training.
