Hi friends, I'm Andy! I'm a sweet, large boy who would love a home with lots of room to run, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Being outside is one of my favorite things, and I'd be happiest with space to stretch my legs and relax. Shelter life has been pretty stressful for me, so I can't wait to finally settle into a calm home where I can truly relax and show my personality. Even with all the stress, I've stayed a very clean boy and try my best every day. I can be a little dog selective, so slow introductions and understanding my comfort level are important for me. I'm also working on my leash manners - I still pull a little because I get excited, but I'm learning and improving with consistency and patience! I already know some commands and I work hard every single day to learn even more because I really want to make my humans proud. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves the outdoors and just needs a chance to decompress and be loved, I'd love to meet you!

Ideal Home

A home with lots of room to run, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. A calm environment where I can relax is ideal. Slow introductions with other dogs are important.

Ongoing Health

Andy is a heartworm positive dog. He has been treated and is recovering. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Andy is working on his leash manners and still pulls a little due to excitement, but he is improving with consistency and patience. He knows some commands and is eager to learn more.
