Koi enjoys adventure and is an eager explorer with basic leash skills that will polish to perfection with practice and occasional gentle correction. He checks in often and is happy to meet your expectations.
Dog-wise, Koi is a social and playful guy. We spent an afternoon introducing him to new dogs, and he was polite during on-leash introductions, with a little friendly excitement sneaking in here and there. His friendly enthusiasm and playstyle can be a lot for some dogs, and he tends to pester them to play in an annoying, younger sibling sort of way. He loves a good playmate with matching energy, but he would also be perfectly content being your one and only!
Ideal Home
Koi's ideal home will give him an outlet for his energy through walks, playdates, or backyard fun, and will include people who don't mind his occasional joyful jumps or sneaky smooches. He is friendly, outgoing, and greets new people with open paws and a full-body wiggle.
